Day 74 – Long

Today was our second day at school. Also, we got to celebrate Ashley’s birthday. We started out by going to P.E. where we are starting the hockey unit. That was really fun but, we mostly were just doing ‘stick handling’. When we finished P.E. we came back and did morning work. Then we went to recess. Then when we came back we did a math project about area and perimeter. Then we headed out to lunch and lunch recess. Then when we came back, we watched a video for an ancient city in Rome called Troy. The video was about the mysteries of the history of ancient Troy and ancient Greece. Then we did some Houghton Mifflin reading books. Then we worked on writing where we are studying metaphors and similes. Then we packed up and started to leave.
